A quiet space for hearts to breathe.
Poetry, reflections, and gentle reminders to keep moving forward.

Welcome to Meg’s Musings — a space for poetry, reflections, and gentle reminders to keep moving forward. Here you will find words and art meant to spark hope, inspire creativity, and remind us that even in small moments, beauty and meaning can be found. Whether you are here for encouragement, a pause in your day, or simply to wander through musings of the heart, I am glad you are here.

Meg’s Musing’s is a website about not looking back and keep moving forward in life despite the obstacles and challenges along the way. You will find through my stories and musings that I share little reminders of hope, belonging, and resilience.

When the Road Feels Long:

There are days when the path ahead feels endless. The sun is shining, but somehow it doesn’t quite reach the heaviness we carry inside. On those days, even the next step feels impossible.

I have had moments like that — where the road seemed to stretch forever, with no clear sign of where it might lead. And yet, somehow, I kept moving. Not with speed, not with certainty, but with the quiet decision to move forward.

What I have learned is this: we don’t need to see the whole journey to take the next step. The act of stepping forward itself — even slowly — is an act of hope. It’s a gentle promise to ourselves that we’re not giving up, even when life feels uncertain.

So if today feels heavy, if the road feels too long, remember this: you’re not walking it alone. Each step you take matters, even if it feels small. Even if no one else notices.

Just remember to not get stuck in thinking that you should have done this, you shouldn't have done that because that leaves you doubting yourself and being stuck and in a funk and you don't want that. Keep your head up and everything will be okay.

Sometimes resilience looks less like running and more like a steady, quiet walk toward the light ahead.
